A passion for Coaching
It is a special gift to work with kids and to help in their development. TJ Kostecky and Len Bilous have had the good fortune to do so, making the last 35+ years a journey of teaching and developing players and coaches. Their innovative program, Vision Training Soccer, is a step-by-step program that teaches players how to see the field while empowering them to make the best decisions.

Director TJ Kostecky
TJ Kostecky is the men’s soccer coach and assistant athletic director for
leadership at Bard College in Annandale-On-Hudson, NY. In an academic
career spanning 35 years and six universities, he has served as a successful
entrepreneur, professor, athletics director, and coach.
Worldwide, TJ conducts Vision Training soccer coaching seminars and
transformational leadership workshops for corporations, universities, college
and professional teams, coaches, parents, and students. His travels have taken
him to places such as Finland, Guatemala, Iceland, Norway, Ukraine, Costa
Rica, Jamaica, Canada, and Turks & Caicos. In 2020 he was inducted into
the Ukraine Sports Hall of Fame. Kostecky is holder of the NSCAA
Premier Diploma and the USSF A coaching license.

In 1981, TJ co-founded Vision Training Soccer, with his partner Len Bilous.
The innovative training program is used by teams, coaches, and players at all
levels and empowers players to make their own decisions, gain confidence,
and become creative. In 2006, they produced the #1 Best-Selling Vision Training DVD and complimentary coaches manual.

He is the proud father of two young women; Kate, an academic and college
advisor at Cross Schools in South Carolina and Caroline, an elementary
school teacher at the Savannah Country Day School in Georgia. TJ resides in
Tivoli, NY, where his play involves long boarding throughout the village
streets, hiking the Catskill Mountains, and engaging everyone in
conversation.
Director Len Bilous
Len Bilous has spent the past 40+ years coaching soccer, including youth, high school, collegiate, professional and international games. While coaching the Pittsburgh Spirit (MISL- 1980) Len was honored as MISL "Coach of the Year". Len holds the US Soccer A Coaching License and has served on the staff of the US Soccer National Coaching Schools, the EPYSA Coaching Schools, and the Olympic Development Program. In 2020 he was inducted into the Ukraine Sports Hall of Fame.

Len resides in Hellertown, PA. His older son Peter is a Major in the US Army and his younger son Misha manages Soccer Post Lehigh Valley, a soccer specialty retail and online store.
